Biomedical laboratory science, present and future aspects on the education

Biomedical scientists are important co-workers at laboratories within the health care sector. Biomedical scientist is an international profession, although both the name of the profession and the education looks different throughout the world.

The present talk aims to give an overview of the current education of biomedical scientist in the Nordic countries and Europe. The talk will also address the future needs in the field and discuss possibilities for a joint European master in biomedical laboratory science.
